Steps Leading to Bond

• Board established the Committee on Revenue Growth and Saving Cost for Education (CORSE) in June, 2006
• Information was gathered from staff, parents and community
• EPIC-MRA conducted a community survey
• CORSE made recommendations to Board in December, 2006
• Bond Committee was established
• Recommendations about size and scope of bond were made to Board in November, 2007
• In February, 2008 the Board adopted a Resolution for a $47,890,000 bond proposal to be presented to voters on May 6, 2008
